Position Overview: 
The Design Assistant is a member of the Design Team and reports to the Design Lead. The Design Assistant is a non-exempt, full-time, hourly, position whose primary duty is assisting Design Team in constructing prototypes and maintaining Design production supplies and finished samples. 

Responsibilities: 
• Execute new designs that meet functionality and aesthetic goals as determined by design team. 
• Contribute to the development of mood boards. 
• Create and maintain Assortment Sheets to showcase new collections. 
• Input design specifications into technical packets. 
• Create and input stone and material orders. 
• Respond to requests for new style mockups. 
• Maintain a clean, efficient and safe working environment. 
• Participate in relevant meetings with Design team and cross-functional departments. 
• Update cross-functional teams on submission status and goals. 
• Communication Design team goals to Technical Development team. 
• Maintain Design Style Tracker and input Style Development updates. 
• Present Design Process to New Hires during orientation, etc. 
• Other various tasks as assigned. 

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have: 
• 1 year of jewelry assembly experience preferred 
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Excel 
• Ability to assemble jewelry prototypes with an eye for brand aesthetic and quality expectations 
• Strong communication skills 
• The ability to be a team player and contribute to a positive working environment 
• Excellent attention to detail
