THE NEED

The Design Thinking Strategist & Facilitator will have a passion for user centered design, complex problem solving, the ability to work across multiple business units, exceptional communication skills, and be able to bring ideas to life visually.  In this role, you must be curious and empathetic while learning and driving different ways of working.

The ideal candidate comes with exceptional facilitation, organizational and visual execution skills.  Your portfolio showcases the ability to deliver beautiful work and the process for how you achieved the final product.  

Repeatable, demonstrated experience embracing new challenges solving gnarly business and design challenges that impact innovation across large organizations.

You will be responsible for designing, facilitating, and delivering high-quality materials and sessions.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

-  Learn and immerse yourself in InMotion Software's 'art and science' of design thinking

-  Support scoping, designing and delivering Design Thinking Workshops and managing the success of each

- Manage the design and preparation work to ensure that all customer expectations are met

- Deliver internal coaching and training

- Communicate progress to stakeholders

- Manage own workload including accurate effort estimating

- Work with business users on priorities / goals and work towards meeting those goals

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

- 5+ years of professional experience in Design, Design Consulting, User Research, or Interaction Design

- Ability to build trust and credibility with team members, management and stakeholders

- Conflict resolution skills

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

- Critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills

- Implementing cross-functional projects in a complex environment

- Agile Design / Development expertise
