Digital Designer
The Q2 Marketing Digital Designer works closest with the marketing team to create branded, functional, and compelling digital experiences across our website, third-party sites, email, and social media. In this role, you will use objective data to help inform your designs and collaborate with various teams in order to best meet the expectations of the customer and the business.
The Digital Designer will utilize Adobe Create Cloud and the latest web and industry practices to produce wireframes, prototypes, and final designs. In addition, you will get to pitch your concepts, enhance our digital brand, and work hand-in-hand with our marketing developers to bring your designs to life. Creativity and new ideas are highly encouraged.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create an array of digital experiences, including (but not limited to) landing pages, microsites, internal pages, advertisements, blogs, emails, and social media posts
Support in the creation of marketing materials and sales campaigns
Collaborate often, both with other Marketing teams and other departments throughout our global offices
Contribute to, or drive, all stages of the creation process, from ideation to execution
Present to, and receive feedback gracefully from, cross-functional team members on all levels
Maintain Q2 brand, graphic, and content standards
Utilize existing templates, frameworks, and branding while exploring creative ways to expand upon our existing solutions and branding
Continuously look for ways to make what’s good even better
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Minimum 2 years of digital design experience
Strong interactive design portfolio
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD
Good written and verbal communication
Able to work well and thrive in a highly-collaborative environment
Able to self-manage priorities, tasks, and time effectively
An understanding of core web design principles: accessibility, user-centric design, responsive design, grid-based page structure, and visual hierarchy
