The Digital Marketing User Experience Designer is responsible for assisting in shaping the user experience across all corporate digital channels. This role will use data as their foundation to define user goals and behavior on the web for both prospects and customers. They will view the digital experience with a 360-degree lens for that user, factoring in all digital touchpoints, to provide the most optimal experience for them. They will partner with other members of the marketing, sales and product teams to ensure the overall user intent is defined and outlined with any new experiences. They will assist in creating wireframes and high-fidelity UI mockups per requirements and design standards.

 

The primary goal for this position is connecting the dots for any user so they can gain the knowledge they need with the highest experience possible.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify user behaviors and audience specific goals while factoring in the user journey across websites and digital touchpoints
  • Able to take data and research to formulate what works and does not work for the user
  • Using our customer data platform, create experiences for users based on their behaviors and help manage and maintain the platform itself
  • Define user tests, set up tests and analyze results to make informed decisions on how to evolve the website experience
  • Create wireframes and prototypes for design teams
  • Research design differences for mobile and tablet solutions and how user behavior changes
  • Establish user goals for our language sites and how users in other countries use our translated websites
  • Create graphics for testing and small-scale design edits for the website
  • Understand any limitations or roadblocks to better inform recommendations
  • Work with designers to understand our brand and design, as well as the art director to ensure brand consistency
  • Understand our industry and how our users differ from others
  • Work collaboratively across teams to implement recommendations to increase our web experience
  • Understand current and emerging related technologies and how we can evolve our digital channels to align with new technologies

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of workplace experience in user experience, design, research and testing
  • Expert in Google Analytics and user experience metrics
  • Data driven decision maker with a design eye
  • Expert in design tools such as Sketch or Photoshop
  • Expert knowledge of ABM, testing platforms and customer data platforms (CDPs)
  • Working knowledge of CMS systems and how they function, preferably WordPress
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills required
  • Analytical thinker and problem solver
  • Knowledgeable in HTML, CSS and JavaScript and how it plays into each practice
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Strong work ethic, self-driver and mission to succeed

 

Education:

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience is required
