As a graphic artist, you’ll work within our in-house design team to ensure SparkCognition presents itself as a world-class leader in the artificial intelligence space. What you will do:

Ability to plan ahead and manage multiple projects at once while still achieving quality and deadline objectives.

Work experience should include designing and writing content that focus on how to position and sell products in a variety of vertical markets.

Ability to facilitate collaborative, cross-functional decision-making processes to simplify complex problems and translate analysis into practical action plans

Evaluate the look and feel of any communication piece and provide alternative solutions, lateral thinking to stretch boundaries and redefine creativity

Provide print-ready artwork: oversee production of print material when necessary

Effectively communicate and articulate thoughts and creative ideas both verbally and in writing

Has a strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) with the ability to be a thought partner/ coach to internal team and stakeholders

Has a strong portfolio demonstrating a passion for design and skill in visual communication

Is aware of current design trends, has the judgment to know when adoption of these trends is appropriate (rather than fashionable)

Actively participates in the creative process by asking questions, voicing opinion, and effectively collaborate with stakeholders to determine project needs

Critical success factors

• Have a diverse portfolio with 2+ years design experience within an agency or related industry
• Strong working knowledge of graphics and design fundamentals
• Advanced skills in Photoshop and InDesign on a Mac OSX platform. Knowledge of Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite and PowerPoint.
• Develop HTML email and landing page templates from scratch
• Super high level of attention to detail
• Ability to manage a diverse workload
• Knowledge and ability to design in WordPress
• Motion graphics experience is a plus
