    Graphic Designer

    Forcepoint is seeking a Graphic Designer I who will provide support across all major Forcepoint marketing functions – corporate communications, brand advertising, events, marketing campaigns, digital marketing, and marketing collateral.  S(he) will be part of an internal global creative agency that includes experienced designers; the role will also work closely with the content marketing organization.

     

    The Graphic Designer I will help communicate the overall brand look and feel throughout all marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have creative design experience with excellent attention to detail; experience at a conceptual level would be a real bonus. In addition, they will have a positive attitude, be passionate about design, and hungry to learn about our industry. They will be motivated, have a strong work ethic, and be willing to learn from other experienced designers on the team. The ideal candidate will produce quality, detailed work in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment. Candidates will be required to provide portfolio of previous work.

     

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Support the creation of marketing collateral including datasheets, case studies, brochures, whitepapers
    • Create graphics and visuals to be used across the brand's website, blogs and social media channels
    • Assist the email marketing teams by designing email marketing images such as
      email headers
    • Participate and contribute in brainstorms, meetings, and presentations
    • Prepare files from design drafts to final – including but not limited to some color correcting, retouching, resizing, and print production setup
    • Adhere to the brand guidelines, both in terms of the visual aspects and
      communication strategy
    • Support the senior designers who will give art direction for the various deliverables ranging from various marketing and sales collateral to event graphics

     

    Desired skills and experiences:

    • Two years relevant experience in graphic design and print production (BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Communications, or related field (or equivalent graphic design experience)
    • Proficient in Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Great typography skills
    • Outstanding creativity and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
    • Experience creating professional PowerPoint presentations
    • Self-disciplined and have the ability to multi-task
    • Boundless curiosity and positive can-do attitude
    • Excellent time management/organizational skills
    • High level of motivation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced,
      campaign-style environment
    • Experience using/applying brand guidelines and using templates
    • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and strategy behind design concepts
    • Knowledge of digital design, including responsive design, websites, email,
      and social media
    • Have a passion for keeping up with social and digital trends

     

    Bonus skills:

    • Video and/or animation skills
    • Knowledge/experience working with tools such as Workfront, Asana, Marketo, Certain.com, and SharePoint
    • Experience with HTML/CSS – for coding emails/newsletters
    • Marketing and design experience in the cybersecurity/technology industry

We are located in the North Austin area by The Domain, off of Braker between Mopac and 183. Our office patio overlooks Quarry Lake.
