Position Overview:
Reporting to the Art Direction Manager, the Retail Visuals Graphic Designer is an integral member of the Creative Services team within the Marketing department, translating overarching creative vision into the retail space. Our ideal candidate possesses a passion for design, strong attention to detail and the ability to remain organized while operating in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with Art Direction Manager to achieve seasonal vision and brand consistency across all retail environments
• Collaborate with Retail Visuals team to strategize and develop design files for in-store signage, window displays, door clings, easels, printed marketing collateral and specialty displays in Kendra Scott retail environments
• Work closely with cross-functional partners to concept and plan out the seasonal creative calendar
• Partner with Production Designer to complete drop list for store distribution
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Graphic Designer for a high-growth company
• A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery
• Experience in the fashion retail industry highly preferred
• Previous merchandising experience helpful
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Thorough knowledge of design principals: layout, typography, color theory, brand identity
• Understanding of print production capabilities and materials
• Understanding of large format print production
• Strong, demonstrated experience of innovative design
• A strong ability to build relationships with co-workers and keep others informed
• A growth mindset: desire to learn, grow and embrace new ideas
