About the Role…
The Sales Training Team is looking for a highly motivated Instructional Designer to analyze, design, develop, and implement curriculum specific to the CRO Organization. This role will also be responsible for administering elements of the Learning Management System (LMS). This highly collaborative role will be heavily involved in designing curriculums that will engage learners, build retention, and drive productivity.
What will you do?
Responsibilities
- Design engaging learning curriculums and compelling courses to increase retention and transfer knowledge (via eLearning modules, videos, manuals, quick start guides, etc.)
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs across multiple business units in the CRO Organization
- Plan out instructional end goals and create training content that matches that criteria
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods for effectiveness
- Develop exercises, activities, assessments, surveys, and knowledge checks that enhance the learning process for our sales reps, including supporting material/media (such as audio, video, simulations, graphics, role plays, games, etc).
- Administer LMS user management and course management tasks
- Maintain project documentation, course folders, and training related materials
- Maintain existing curriculums for relevance and accuracy
- Build out and work on assignments dealing with routine and daily operations, use, and configurations of the LMS
- Evaluate the effectiveness of each sales training course/curriculum to drive results
- Act as an internal consultant by analyzing data and recommending solutions to utilize the LMS to deliver, track, and assess training outcomes correlated with our CRO Org objectives
- Partner with your sales training design team and execution team for alignment on needs of the business and each business unit owner.
What will you bring?
Requirements
- Proven working experience 3+ in instructional design and with instructional technology
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an LMS administrator or in similar position
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
- Proven working experience and skills in curriculum planning and implementation
- Solid knowledge of course development software (Articulate Storyline, Learning Management Systems)
- Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) and ability to storyboard
- Ability to write effective instructional text, audio/video scripts, etc
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the LMS
- Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization (including vendors)
- BA/BS or Masters degree in instructional designer, educational technology or similar field
- Preferred: Experience working with Litmos
- Preferred: Experience in related industry (technology, real estate, or sales)
