Your Job:
We’re seeking an ambitious Junior Graphic Designer to join our expanding Creative Team here at PLANOLY. In this role, the Junior Graphic Designer will play an active role in assisting in the creation and execution of all visual content ranging from marketing/advertising campaigns, social media content, as well as on-brand custom illustrations and hand-lettering. The right candidate will be well versed in their design terminology, ready to develop their existing skills by working on a variety of projects/tasks in a face-paced environment. An understanding of typography, layout, and color theory will be needed in order to successfully assist the team to produce high-quality designs.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate cross-functionally and consistently contribute to strategic design proposals that meet campaign/company objectives
- Work closely with Creative Team and report directly to the Design Manager
- Assist in the creation of proposals and decks for other teams if needed
- Design dynamic and eye-catching graphic solutions to communicate brand message
- Consistently research, identify and share current industry design and social media trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- 1+ years of graphic design experience preferred
- Solid understanding of digital best practices for social media content
- Proficient in ProCreate, and Adobe Creative Suite applications (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) - experience with Adobe After Effects is a PLUS
- Exceptional typographical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong hand-lettering and or illustration skills
- Solid understanding of basic color theory
- Well versed in social media
- Ability to multitask and consistently deliver work on-time, in a deadline-oriented environment
- Experience using Asana software for project management is a PLUS
- Ability to embrace constructive feedback
- Proven ability to work effectively with both internal team members and cross-functional team members
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
