Dealerware’s team is currently hiring a Product UX Designer to work closely with our product managers, engineers and UX researchers. We are a close-knit design team that is inspired to change the world of mobility through research, data, and thoughtful design solutions to interesting and complex problems. Our successful new team member will demonstrate a record of solving complex business problems, collaborating successfully (and unsuccessfully) with cross-functional partners, exploring problem spaces in creative and thorough ways, creating compelling design solutions, articulating their rationale and thought process, influencing and persuading others to their solutions, and ultimately, contributing to make their teams stronger and more effective.
As a Product UX Designer, you will:
- Join a current team of product designers and researchers to help shape, communicate and execute a compelling long-term design strategy and vision
- Be proactive in identifying opportunities, creating strong partnerships internally, and identifying opportunities to improve and extend our products to benefit our customers
- Demonstrate the ability to “go wide” in your thinking and develop multiple, divergent concepts and collecting feedback before “going narrow” and choosing a direction to pursue in detail
- Deliver journey maps, detailed designs, and prototypes to inform your design process and to evaluate concepts during usability testing
- Participate in design critiques, seeking feedback for your own designs and providing constructive feedback to team members
- Partner effectively with product, research, and engineering to deliver results that could not have been delivered by any one person or group alone
- Effectively use qualitative and quantitative data to inform your design decisions, foster a point of view on design direction, and articulate rationale to stakeholders and teammates

Required qualifications:
- 2-4 yrs experience across 1-2 employers designing and shipping successful software products
- Thrive in a fast-paced agile environment and consistently deliver quality work in an iterative manner
- Competent with popular design tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Zeplin).
- Competent with Material Design patterns and experienced (or Familiar with the basics of web code HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Even better if you have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction or similar design-related discipline
- Understanding of usability testing and formative evaluation research and able to contribute to (and occasionally drive) the research phase of your projects
- Competency in visual design principles and execution
- B2B and / or B2C experience delivering SaaS products
- Interest and / or experience in the automotive industry
