We are currently seeking a highly driven Product Designer to join our MineralSoft Product Management team in Austin, TX. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world’s most dynamic and fastest growing sector. Performance Objectives
You'll join a product team of 2 product managers and as the team's designer you will have a great deal of impact on the product and the visual design language. Being a small team means we're nimble, and collaborate closely with each other, but also gives you broad ownership over your work. Since we're part of Enverus, you'll also have access to the larger company's community of designers around the US, and plenty of other support.
- Be involved with MineralSoft's product strategy conversations
- Advocate for user-centric thinking and design across the product, and company
- Maintain, advocate for, and expand our design system
- Interview customers and stakeholders
- Create and test interactive prototypes
- Create high-fidelity interfaces
- Collaborate with engineers, sales, and support folks
- Communicate design concepts, design rationale and specifics of proposed solutions to product and engineering
- Act as a design expert for engineers and PMs
Competitive Candidate Profile
- You've held a product design role for 1-4 years or have a degree in human-centered design, product design, user experience design, or something similar.
- Strong visual and interaction design abilities with experience designing for the web
- You're a great communicator—in both written and spoken words.
- You've been on teams that have shipped 1-2 products.
- You use prototypes to test features and interactions.
- You're proficient with Figma (or other design software like Sketch, Adobe XD, Framer, etc.).
- You can define problems and objectives through data, research, and understanding of customers, and let those objectives inform elegant, practical solutions.
- You're curious, and can identify and act on opportunities to improve our product offering
- You're comfortable collaborating across disciplines and teams
- You can immerse yourself in and learn about a complex industry
