Position Overview
This position is perfect for you if you are a person with a passion to design and develop creative sales training materials to engage, excite, and motivate your audience! You are skilled at incorporating instructional design and development expertise using innovative technology to produce leading learning experiences. You have a keen eye for converting learning objectives into behavior-changing simulations, online courses, informational webinars, exams, assessments, and classes to meet program objectives. You are comfortable managing multiple, fast-paced projects in a collaborative, dynamic environment with a passionate extended team.
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and publish sales training content and courses
- Discuss goals and outcomes in simple language and convert complex ideas or large volumes of information into simple language that others can relate to
- Seek to understand the motivations, expectations, and mindsets of the learner and the SailPoint end customer in order to equip the direct and partner sales teams for success
- Establish strong working relationships and facilitate conversations with key internal and external business partners
- Understand current learning needs and gaps to research, recommend, design and implement training and development initiatives
- Apply instructional design expertise while adhering to a consistent learning content strategy
- Assess and develop job aides for learning experiences
- Write, copy-edit, proofread, create visuals and other learning assets
- Ensure that content and learning experiences meet quality standards
- Drive, track, and manage learning content development projects within required budget and timeline
- Effectively use various learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, and Vidyard to create engaging learning experiences
- Monitor the impact of training to ensure that results are achieved, and content is retained
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design or higher
- Minimum 5-7+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer within a fast-paced global sales force
- Minimum 5 years of experience with designing sales training programs and workshops such as SKOs
Highly skilled with the following:
- Articulate Storyline 2 and 360 (Advanced)
- Articulate Studio 360 (Advanced)
- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro
- Brainshark or similar learning management system
- HighSpot or similar content management system
- Microsoft Office
