Job Description

Procore is looking for a Senior UX Manager for our Data & AI division to help us transform the construction industry by inspiring future-facing solutions that simplify complex business processes and drive richer collaboration across stakeholders on a construction project.

As Senior UX Manager for Data & AI, you’ll lead a team of talented UX designers toward designing customer-centric solutions that radically improve existing functionality and propose design solutions for filling in gaps in our current product. As a member of our leadership team, you’re a fierce advocate for quality design and a bold voice that drives commitment towards creating meaningfully elegant solutions for our customers. You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, and UX leaders to develop and execute our strategy to win in Preconstruction. This position will report to Mark Marrara, Director of UX, and has the opportunity to work remotely from any U.S location or flexibly from our Carpinteria, California headquarters or Austin, Texas office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Enable cross-functional product teams to achieve the company's prioritized business objectives and key results

  • Inspire and support your team of designers in creating industry-changing, customer-centric solutions that boldly push the envelope of what technology can do through the application of various Artificial Intelligence approaches

  • Build a world-class enterprise UX team through leading, developing, and hiring highly talented designers 

  • Serve as an internal thought leader and key facilitator of the design process by leading with a design system centered approach to building experiences

  • Balance design forward-thinking with approachability by designing easy-to-use, human-centered experiences that appeal to a broad audience 

  • Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions

  • Act as a mentor and coach to designers, providing and receiving feedback that improves design outcomes and fosters learning

  • Create the right circumstances and conditions for the design to deliver value and for individuals to create meaningful, career-defining work

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience building and delivering successful B2B or Consumer products at scale

  • 5+ years of experience building, leading and managing a UX team

  • A collaborator that can partner with Product and Technology to take industry insights and business goals to direct teams 

  • Ability to seamlessly flip between the language of business and design, setting meaningful goals and objectives for your team while advocating for important design decisions to company leadership

  • History of driving decisions through qualitative and quantitative research & analysis

  • Ability to recognize great design work and inspire others to achieve higher levels of excellence

  • A strong example of a servant leader, deploying your team in a way that shares decision making, encourages ownership and autonomy, and drives engagement

  • Must have experience with modern interface design tooling, including but not limited to Figma, Principle, Flinto, etc

  • Bachelor’s or master’s preferred in graphic design, HCI, UX, a related area of study, or equivalent work experience

Procore Austin is the second largest of our offices, occupying six floors in the Chase Tower at the center of downtown Austin.
