We are looking for a Product Design Lead with 7+ years experience and expertise in visual and user interface design for web and native mobile software applications. Someone who is passionate about serving people through the thoughtful application of design and technology. This candidate must have experience working in fast-paced environments.

What you'll do:

While having a lot of autonomy, you will also have support from other design peers and leadership. In this role, you will work under the Director of Design to lead the design team in creating stellar user experiences for the GetDone product.

• Plan and conduct qualitative user research to inform product strategy and design solutions.
• Under the Director of Design, you will lead all product design activities to create compelling and effective user experiences.
• Elevate, maintain, and ensure adherence to a comprehensive design system to ensure clarity and consistency of design and interactions across all aspects of the product. 
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, product managers, marketing and other teams in the company to create world-class user experiences.
• Drive quick, iterative design / feedback cycles.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes to demonstrate user experience.

• You bring a systematic approach to problem-solving, while understanding how to isolate specific design issues and opportunities.
• You can handle ambiguity and blaze a path forward instead of waiting for a manager to tell you what to do. 
• You have the ability to prioritize your work based on user goals, business goals, and the product roadmap.
• You have experience designing for responsive web and mobile apps.
• You have an MFA, BFA or BS in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience.
• You have excellent written and verbal skills.
• Experience managing designers is a bonus.
