As Senior UX Designer at RetailMeNot, you will responsible for conceptualizing innovative solutions and the execution and delivery of UX design deliverables. You are a strong designer that is comfortable driving clarity out of ambiguity, through many stages of product design. You are able to expertly develop insights from business drivers, market assessment, and user wants & needs. You're a visionary who collaborates with UX Researchers, Product Managers, Engineers, and other Designers to rapidly iterate through product explorations. This role will be actively involved in high-visibility initiatives, therefore strong communication skills with executive leadership is a requirement.

Who You Are

• 7 or more years of experience with UX Design (mobile experience is a plus)
• Practical experience designing in Agile design & development environments
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Experience facilitating the sharing of standard methodologies, standards, and processes across UX teams
• Coherently present design methods, explorations, and tradeoff rationale to peers and executive partners
• Ability to use data to make sound recommendations in a team environment
• Strong knowledge of current and leading edge technology in areas of: browser/device capabilities, web standards, forward-thinking enhancement, dynamic content retrieval, and responsive/adaptive design techniques
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, and other industry tools
• Deep understanding of technical platforms and terms (i.e. HTML, CSS, XML, etc.)
• Strong portfolio is required for consideration of this position.

What You'll Do

• Frequently collaborates with Product Managers to develop product strategy and plans for design execution
• Works with UX Design team members to scope project approach and estimating level of effort
• Partner with cross-functional roles to establish product vision, then be personally involved in the execution of bringing the concept to reality
• Partner with the Head of Design and other UX Design Managers to ensure the development of a cohesive product experience for users across features and channels (devices)
• Assist with attracting and retaining highly skilled team members; partner with the Head of Design and Recruiting to participate in screening and interviewing candidates
• Provide feedback and insights to UX Design Manager regarding areas of best practices, design trends, techniques, and tools to be a leading-edge UX Design team
