Summary:

Under Armour is seeking a Senior Digital Designer for its ecommerce organization. This role is responsible for creating digital consumer experiences on ua.com, the Under Armour app, and occasionally supporting our fitness apps. This person will help oversee Under Armour campaign and brand storytelling within our ecommerce channels and be partly responsible for the creation and integration of digital assets. This role will also be responsible for the creation of internal educational tools regarding digital assets and supporting process manuals.

This role will be located in Austin, TX. With this role you should expect occasional travel.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Brand creative teams (Category, Story, Content and Product Design) to continually drive and refine how we communicate our brand mission, personality, and point of view to consumers by creating transformative digital experiences that will inspire our athletes and deliver on our promise of making athletes better.
  • Manage the execution of assigned (creative) projects from concept through production, ensuring the highest level of design quality within brief, budget, and time.
  • Partner with global and regional agencies to develop creative to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Pro-actively present to management and project teams to secure the necessary approvals.
  • Provide strong creative direction and quality control over concepts and projects.
  • Must have a strong knowledge and understanding of UX and product design process.
  • Delegate and provide direction to designated producers and partner agencies through production/management of brand guidelines.
  • Design educational tools and supporting process manuals.
  • Establish yourself as a strategic business partner within the Digital team.
  • Use behavioral data and insights to inform and influence the customer journey and experience, ultimately leading to increased engagement and conversion.
  • Drive innovation and leverage technology to create memorable global brand experiences.

Education and/or Experience:

  • 7+ years working experience in developing consumer-facing interactive content
  • Undergraduate in design, marketing, or equivalent
  • Past experience with digital storytelling (minimum of 5 years)
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Experience working on geographically dispersed and/or global teams
  • Required tools: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, HTML, WordPress, Sketch
  • Samples of work submitted with your resume
