Fortress Blockchain Technologies is a portfolio company of neo-banking, NFT & crypto products seeking to change the way banking is done / that let you put all your financial services under one roof. Lead by an experienced group of financial technology leaders, Fortress Blockchain Technologies is looking to craft intuitive and delightful NFT wallets, easy-to-use minting tools, and innovative neo-banking apps.

We are looking for a talented UI/UX designer and first-principal thinker to help us build this suite of companies. This candidate will play an instrumental role in shaping large parts of these products and the future of these companies. **Must be based in Austin, TX

You will: 

- Help execute and deliver the end-to-end product design for multiple products.

- Be the master of keeping our Figma files up to date and organized.

- Design consumer-friendly UI solutions to otherwise complex blockchain, payment, banking, and investment technologies.

- Perform internal and external user research to understand our users’ needs.

- Work closely with design leads and engineers to develop solutions that are best tailored for the problems the team has identified.

- Execute and imagine micro-interactions and interactive prototypes.

- Maintain and iterate design components to drive consistency and reusability throughout the app.

- Actively learn about new design trends and concepts to improve the design process.

The Right Person(ality):

- You have an interest in / have previous knowledge on blockchain, cryptocurrency, or other new technologies and trends.

- Making a difference in the world through beautiful and intuitive UI design solutions.

- Designing our future through innovative technology solutions.

- Designing and delivering multiple products as an individual contributor. We expect you to get your hands dirty!

- Figma UI Libraries and symbols, and geek out over design systems and patterns.

- Simplifying the way users send and receive money.

- Designing out a mobile banking app that you would actually ditch your current bank for.

- Dashboard information design

- Crypto exchange UI

- NFT wallets

- In-app solutions

- Web product solutions

- Mobile banking UI

- Internal tools / processes
