Role Summary:

We are data-driven, employing user research methodologies to develop creative designs that promote the goals of the business directly affecting the revenue of our customers. As a member of the UX Team, you are collaborative and up to the challenge of bringing a consumer-oriented UX to a B2B/B2C platform working with some of the brightest product, engineering and team members in the industry. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of UX Design.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work cross functionality with Product Managers and Engineers, own and implement design aspects of our CRE web applications
  • Produce wireframes, user flows, mockups, and other deliverables to guide the work of the software engineering team
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to validate and iterate your designs.
  • Communicate early ideas through flows and low fi sketches to facilitate discussions and get early feedback
  • Guide identified product plans from conception to the conclusion, including ideation, user research, flowcharts, prototypes, wireframes, functional specifications, and high-fidelity renderings as an important member of the Product Team
  • Coordinate multiple design projects simultaneously to completion
  • Partner with multiple team members, including product managers, engineers, organizational leaders, and customers to brainstorm and draft new product concepts

The Experiences That Will Help You Succeed:

  • 5+ years experience creating digital interface design solutions for the web, mobile and hand-held devices as a member of an SaaS product design team at a web application company
  • Experience with business, FinTech or SaaS applications and dashboards that combine complex data into static and interactive visualizations
  • Portfolio demonstrating design thinking and problem- solving for a web application
  • Collaborative professional who can combine the collective goals and opinions of others, use best practices to propose multiple solutions

The Competencies You'll Need:

  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to inform and validate design decisions
  • Experience breaking down big problems into smaller experiments to validate assumptions faster
  • Experience designing both graphical B2C solutions that are transactional B2B solutions that manage transactional workflows and administrative tasks
  • Expertise in Figma, Sketch, Miro, UserTesting and other design and prototyping tools

We operate in a hybrid work model. You can work from home in any of the 27 states where we currently have team members. You can work from our HQ in Austin, TX. Through our partnership with Industrious, we also provide access to CrowdStreet-paid, local co-working spaces.
