UX Design Lead

OVERVIEW
Atmosphere is currently looking for a highly motivated UX Lead who will help us build incredible user experiences that drive customer satisfaction. This critical role will build the foundation for the UX design culture at Atmosphere. They need to be comfortable being hands on with UX design and research, but also ready to build a team of talented UX professionals.

Atmosphere is the world’s first and largest free ad-supported streaming TV service for businesses offering original, owned, and operated TV channels along with Partner Channels from prominent brands. Atmosphere was incubated under Chive Media Group and spun out in 2019. By designing a streaming service focused on retail businesses, Atmosphere is meeting the needs of two underserved markets: businesses looking for free, audio-optional TV programming, and advertisers that have never been able to effectively buy media to reach an out-of-home audience on TV screens. With millions of TV customers cutting their live tv subscriptions, both cable and streaming, Atmosphere allows TV advertisers to reach an unreachable audience.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Identify our customers pain points and needs to deliver optimized designs
• Synthesize coherent wireframes and work with product, devs, designers and customers to bring them to life
• Translate customer goals and functionality into elegant UX
• User test before, during and after launch to refine UX
• Cohesive approach to scoping v1/2/3 so the product can be iteratively built and deployed
• With limited oversight can help determine the best route forward
• Build a team of UX designers and researchers

REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years minimum experience developing UX
• Web, Mobile UX Design
• Willing to move fast on intuition or slow with full ux testing due diligence when warranted
• Bias towards simplicity
• Fully understands products, customers and high level tech
• Super eager to learn, work hard and grow

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Some Product and/or Engineering experience
• Some UI & Graphic Design
• User Testing
• A/B Testing
• Analytics
