This UX Designer position at SailPoint is critical to the success of the business as it is responsible for contributing to SailPoint’s user experience design vision of its SaaS based software products.. As a UX Designer, you will have the opportunity to develop and improve the user experience and functionality of the SailPoint's suite of SaaS applications while working closely with our Product Management and Engineering teams to conceptualize, prototype and design user interfaces. The ideal candidate must be self-directed, a fast learner, and flexible enough to work on concurrent projects.  This position reports to the Manager of User Experience & Design. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work in cross-functional teams, including product owners, UX design leads from Product Marketing, and UI engineers, to refine requirements and iterate on design alternatives in an Agile environment 
  • Build wire frames and high-fidelity prototypes in Adobe XD 
  • Present user experience interface concepts and design approaches clearly and convincingly 
  • Contribute to and maintain UX design system and guidelines 
  • Work with UI developers to implement designs and validate features as they are built to ensure they adhere to SailPoint’s core UI principals 
  • Continually improve the user experience through iterations

 

Skills/Experience:

  • 3-5 years UX design experience 
  • Demonstrated strength in creating an intuitive user experience for multi-persona enterprise software that led to success in the market 
  • Experience collaborating with Product Management and Engineering stakeholders 
  • Good understanding of fundamental interaction design and usability principals 
  • Good knowledge of user-centric design processes and methodologies 
  • Proficient with Adobe graphic design tools such as Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HTML/CSS/Bootstrap/JavaScript/AJAX technologies and experience designing solutions which leverage these technologies 
  • Experience with moderated or unmoderated user research or A/B testing is a plus 
  • Team player, comfortable with rapid iteration process and working within a small fast paced team 
  • Experience working in an agile development environment 
  • Online portfolio of work samples is required
