Our User Experience Team is responsible for the usability of our Platform. We are looking for a UX Researcher whose is passionate about building a user-centered design culture to expand and strengthen our UX team.
What You'll Do
- Build strong partnerships with product management and engineering peers to foster a shared understanding of user needs and behaviors
- Present research findings and recommendations to product teams and other stakeholders and help teammates make decisions based on data and user insights
- Plan, conduct, and analyze a variety of remote qualitative research studies including but not limited to; user interviews, moderated & unmoderated usability testing, card sorts, & tree testing
- Collaborate with UX leadership to formalize ResearchOps and support initiatives such as establishing an insights repository, creating playbooks, and educating others on best practices
- Uphold user-centered design principles and evangelize its value to stakeholders, cross-department teams, and subject matter experts
- Lead and mentor; contribute to the growth of the UX team and foster a collaborative team spirit
- Help with hiring and establishing a user-centered design culture within the company
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience as a User Experience Researcher with demonstrated skills planning, conducting, and analyzing data from qualitative research studies
- Grasp of various research methodologies and which one is the best one (or "ones") to use to identify problems, understand users, or validate solutions given initiative goals and timing
- Understand the importance of ResearchOps and excited about contributing to a more efficient and powerful approach to integrating User Research into the product design process
- Excellent collaborator - adapting to feedback from both users and internal stakeholders, building stronger products as a result
- Solid problem solver with demonstrated ability to articulate the problem, the solution, and approach - bringing others along through the process.
