An Insider's view of Cerity

What’s the vibe like in the office?

We aren’t all work and no play! We work hard and move fast, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have time to have fun or play a game of shuffleboard or two in our office. Cerity is filled with fun and interesting individuals who all have very diverse hobbies and experiences to keep conversations interesting as we work towards completing our goals.

Katie

Technical Analyst

What's the biggest problem your team is solving?

We’re working on the right stuff when it’s hard. There’s no shortage of “opportunities” in the insurance space, but we aspire to make protecting small business as easy as one click shopping on Amazon. This is a huge goal and will take a commitment to challenging norms, AI, ML, and a modern tech stack; all fueled by a creative and passionate team.

Dennis

Chief Operating Officer

What makes someone successful on your team?

I think to be successful as a member of the Cerity family, you're eager to learn and evolve. You need to be driven enough to work at a high level independently, but humble enough to allow leadership to support and guide you. You will put the team first because you understand you will be given individual opportunities to grow and succeed.

Andrew

Manager of Member Services

How do your team's ideas influence the company's direction?

At Cerity, you'll find the work culture is truly an environment where team members are actively encouraged to interject their viewpoints & opinions "for the good of the cause". As we set out to completely re-invent insuretech from the ground up, all team members (regardless of title or experience) are asked to be part of the conversation.

Dave

Director of Marketing

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

Cerity offers an incredible work-life balance. Management does an exceptional job at setting the expectations and then getting out of the way (i.e. they will help shepherd projects, but they will not micro-manage!). The people at Cerity are word-class, and it shows.
