The Q2 Visual Designer will work closely with the marketing team to turn marketing objectives into compelling deliverables across platforms including digital, print, motion graphics and animation, web, email and social media. As a Visual Designer in the Brand and Design group within Marketing, this is your chance to push your creative skills and utilize your technical skills to create awareness not only building our brand, but also programs and materials that support our marketing objectives and digital forward approach. The Visual Designer will need to be adept at taking projects from research and concept through to the final deliverable and will get to work in a highly collaborative environment with the opportunity to advance the company's look and feel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with content writers, digital marketers, digital designers, and accounts managers to create solutions that reflect our audiences

  • Contribute to the initial conceptual and ideation process

  • Understand brand and design best practices and strategies

  • Apply a digital-forward approach to creating and delivering marketing messages

  • Maintain and contribute to Q2’s brand and graphic standards 

  • Contribute to the creative process through collaboration in a team environment

  • Present creative concepts to cross-functional team members at all levels

  • Concept, design and produce a variety of marketing materials including ads, brochures, newsletters, tradeshow graphics, product documentation, PowerPoint presentations, social media graphics, and overall brand and digital experiences

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years' related Marketing experience 

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate, Premiere)

  • Extensive experience creating motion graphics and animations

  • Highly adept at telling stories through visuals/design

  • Ability to work and thrive in a collaborative environment

  • Intense curiosity and strong critical thinking skills

  • Killer creativity and design skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to create and bring ideas to fruition

  • Microsoft PowerPoint skills and presentation design

  • Experience working with print vendors and creating print files

  • General copy/creative writing, editing and proofreading 

  • Project and time management skills

  • Portfolio of sample work (completed projects within multiple mediums)

  • Must have the ability to support content input and creation in order to support all teams at Q2, especially Marketing and Sales
