Front End Engineer
Social Solutions is looking for a front end engineer who will work on our website, lead forms, and a variety of other electronic communication methods. The role requires knowledge of programming and an appreciation for design, as well as experience developing Marketo assets, websites, and Wordpress templates. We are looking for someone with a solid coding background with an eye for design. Items you will be asked to develop include individual campaign/promotional emails, landing pages, blog pages, calls-to-action, responsive design applications, and SEO best practices.
Our ideal candidate will be:
Creative - focused on matching styles and confident working without, or within, a template design structure and be able to recognize obvious departures from branding and basic layout. You will be responsible for implementing content into existing templates, for maintaining and improving existing templates, and also for creating new templates that allow team members to self-server where possible. Essentially, you care about the design and visual aspects of anything you create.
Technically Savvy - exerts command over HTML and CSS and knows how to apply those skills to both email and website applications. You should have experience building landing pages, emails, and CTA campaigns through a system such as Marketo, Hubspot, or Eloqua. You would be responsible for creating branded templates in Marketo, static and dynamic content blocks, and html templates for the marketing team to edit. You can also make beautiful websites using Wordpress or other CMS platforms.
Driven – we want someone who likes to be ahead of the curve and takes pride in implementing innovative methodology. What we have in place now may not be the same in the future, and we need a go-getter who is driving us toward emerging technologies. Essentially, we want you to be passionate about your job.
Experienced – you have done this kind of work before for at least 1-2 years, and you know how to problem-solve and troubleshoot to achieve perfection. You've been in the game long enough to know that great digital properties are a mix of form and function, and you have a portfolio to prove it.
Responsibilities include:
- Mocking up revamped and brand new pages in concert with a variety of marketing stakeholders
- Implementing responsive design and influencing the implementation of standards and best practices for conversion and optimized user experience
- Creating branded email and landing page templates in Marketo
