Director of Training

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Director of Training with experience working in the technology industry. This person will be responsible for creating and implementing training programs across departments within the organization and overseeing career development.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement training programs aligned with business strategy & objectives in collaboration with department leaders
• Conduct training needs analysis to identify gaps and create solutions
• Create & manage training content
• Design, develop, implement and manage measurement process, criteria & metrics to assess training effectiveness
• Teach professional development and new hire related classes
• Coach internal instructors on delivering classroom content
• Supporting Career Development by designing and developing the needed tools, processes, and knowledge resources that can be delivered through a variety of training mediums

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• 8+ years hands-on sales and/or service trainer experience within a rapidly growing organization including 3+ years demonstrated experience managing a training team; startup experience preferred
• Owned business process for training
• Experience training transactional sales professionals and customer success teams
• Experience collaborating across departments and with multiple stakeholders
• Experience with instructional design, curriculum development, delivery, effectiveness evaluations and program coordination
• Strong innovative, analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of training methodology, adult learning and change management
• Proficiency with LMS platforms such as Lessonly and office applications such as Google Apps
