Cadence Design Systems is looking for an engineer to develop software Apps for DTCO Infrastructure. The apps will be used to drive PPA optimization and design productivity by applying ML to cadence’s digital implementation flows.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing and modifying software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design;
- Analyzing information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system;
- Analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints;
- Consulting with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance;
Preparing reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status;
- Storing, retrieving, and manipulating data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements;
- Interfacing with Virtuoso Genus & Innovus platform data retrieval;
Working with Design-Technology Co-Optimization (DTCO) engineers to
understand specifications and optimization goals;
- Implementing core algorithms in Python language;
- Running QA and checking generated results,
- Creating an interactive reports/plots to enable designers to choose most optimal design decisions.
The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in Python and ML/AI, and must have the aptitude to learn the intricacies of EDA and ASIC design methodologies.
Pre-requisites:
Master’s in Computer Science
Exposure to VLSI and EDA S/W
Knowledge of Python and Data Science
