The Client Services Engineer will support Accruent clients in their initiatives to streamline maintenance processes and build a more stringent framework to support environmental compliance. As a Client Services Engineer you will have extensive customer interaction, including process mapping, system configuration, providing product documentation, and evaluating customer performance through system monitoring, and improving system data integrity. The Client Services Engineer will be engaged in multiple activities on behalf of the client(s) including maintenance of Accruent’s refrigerant database, training vendors, and providing analytics and reports. Client Services Engineers must work constantly to remain relevant in the space, including marketplace analysis, industry summits, and educational seminars as needed. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter leak check data from quarterly site inspections
  • Enforce vendor compliance with refrigerant leak check processes
  • Scrub and update Accruent database with survey data
  • Support CARB reporting initiatives
  • Update refrigerant data forms
  • Make interval updates to Accruent to reflect changes in third party integration
  • Follow up with vendors when systems repairs are left in a status of “Repair Attempted”
  • Provide performance metrics and recommended actions as defined in the SOW
  • Train Directors of Construction (DOCs)
  • Train vendors to support the Accruent and third-party integration
  • Develop a point of view for solution fit against customer’s requirements
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations of our applications in a professional and effective manner by maintaining knowledge in all aspects of Accruent software and services, including upcoming features and functionality
  • Work with Accruent Project Management to support their scoping exercises to develop implementation timelines
  • Contribute to the continual process of enhancing our products by providing customer feedback, requests and concerns to Product Management
  • Review quarterly code push and implement functionality as desired by the client(s)
  • Work with client(s) to determine KPIs, project goals, and objectives
  • Understand Accruent applications for the purposes of being utilized as an application expert, configuring applications to customer/project specifications, performing application gap analysis, and providing guidance and documentation on the proper use of the applications
  • Configure the Accruent application; including creation and management of user roles
  • Direct and perform the specification, collection, and loading of customer data for our applications
  • Direct and perform business process mapping efforts for client(s) “as-is” and “to-be” business processes as they relate to automating them in our applications
  • Directly responsible for understanding customers’ business requirements, preparing technical documentation and business requirement definition documents
  • Where needed, negotiate scope and deliverables for projects, and communicate all of these internally to the Accruent teams
  • Utilize Accruent reporting tools, specifically Query Studio, for the purpose of assisting client(s) with ad hoc requests as well as performing managed services as required
  • Work independently and with other Accruent departments to create value for client(s) from understanding our customers’ data and use of our systems
  • Travel to customer locations as required and documented in SOWs; not to exceed 40% of the time.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in

♦ Hosted Solutions (SaaS)

♦ Property, Asset, Purchasing, or Carbon Emissions related software/systems

♦ Managing maintenance, refrigeration, and/or energy for multi-site business

  • 2 + years relevant experience in complex software solution as a system administrator or solution engineer
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in software solutions, facility maintenance, and/or knowledge of technology
  • Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skill set required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Access and Visio
  • Knowledge of Adobe Publisher
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work with all levels of organizations, both internal and external
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and independently and drive for results
  • Hard working and a self-motivated individual who works well in a team environment that enjoys the benefits of a growing company
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate problem resolutions to others with differing skill sets and educational backgrounds
  • Domestic travel experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree

♦ Preferred areas of study: Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Math, Business, or a related field
