The Cloud Deployment Engineer would work alongside the Solution Architect and Project Manager to successfully deliver SailPoint's AI solution to customers.
AI is SailPoint's newest Software-as-a-Service offering which provides machine learning-based analytics around a customer's identity data. Those analytics can then be used to provide recommendations and a variety of business benefits to the end user.
Responsibilities:

  • Deployment and integration of the AI Services SaaS product for customers, including:
    • Configuring virtual appliances (VMs) to connect to cloud-based applications
    • Reviewing and configuring identity attribute mappings
    • Working with DevOps team to perform data loading and collector configuration tasks
    • Configuration of analytics dashboards
    • Testing of all configurations
  • Communicating to clients aspects of both the product and the implementation at the technical and/or functional level appropriate for the situation.
  • Post-sales requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.
  • Working with clients for user testing, debugging, support and maintenance.
  • Enabling and training customers via knowledge transfer sessions during the implementation process.


Experience:

  • 1-4 years of professional work experience as part of a software company or systems integrator.
  • Exposure to programming languages, databases, or enterprise software configuration.
  • Interest in or exposure to cloud technologies and software-as-a-service (SaaS)
  • Ability to quickly learn and absorb new technologies
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting techniques and effective use of documentation, online sources, testing, experimentation, and the knowledge of other technical professionals to solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with clients
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Experience with SaaS product installation, configuration and management a plus
  • Experience with either data processing, data management or data analytics software plus
  • Experience with data science or machine learning a plus
  • Security software or internal IT audit experience a plus.
  • Experience with Enterprise Cloud Based Systems a plus (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with identity management provisioning systems (SailPoint, Sun, Oracle, IBM) a plus.


Location:
The job is based in Austin, Texas. Local candidates preferred but REMOTE work is permitted depending on experience.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Travel:
This position requires up to 10% travel.
