Associate Web Developer
Q2 is seeking an organized, customer-focused Web Developer to work on a multitude of varying projects. The right individual for this role must be a strong collaborator who is a skilled programmer and creative problem solver with strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and other front-end web technologies. In addition, you must be able to create web graphics, assist in styling web applications in collaboration with UI designers, and collaborate with IT, Development, Product, and Sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regularly troubleshoot Q2 products, integration, and environment issues
- Work with customers to update and troubleshoot marketing websites.
- Regularly update customers, via phone, email or customer portal, of ongoing troubleshooting and resolution efforts
- Manage an individual and team open case queue and prioritize accordingly
- Provide great customer support through direct customer contact, including phone, email, and case documentation
- Modify code as necessary including, but not limited to, changing scripts, making necessary modifications in database tables, and tune applications to resolve the customer’s problem in a production environment, requiring extreme care and attention to detail
- Troubleshoot system problems/issues, and look for ways to improve Q2 products
- Utilize Git for managing source-controlled projects
- Edit databases using SQL commands
- A moderate degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Typically requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience
- A focus on customer satisfaction, demonstrating initiative, self-motivation, and keen attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of case SLA requirements
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and timelines
- Must have solid troubleshooting skills and resolve most issues with minimal to moderate effort
- Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant web standards
- Basic SQL knowledge is a plus
- Ability to quickly learn new internal tools
- Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator experience is a plus
- Experience with Git or familiarity with source control, in general, is a plus
- The candidate should be reasonably comfortable working with a terminal command line
- Ability to communicate directly and clearly with peers, managers, and clients
