About the Role
The Back End Engineer is for someone relatively new to back end engineering. It is for someone who enjoys working and creating API while learning from some of the best and the brightest. We want someone who loves engineering and wants to be in a place where they have tons to learn and want to put in the effort to get better.

What will you be doing?

• Creating applications using Node JS, AWS, and other microservices
• Produce improvements in back end development
• Collaborating with other teams to determine business needs
• Accept coaching from more senior members of the team
• Using customer feedback to build new features

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Between 5 and 10 year's experience in back end development required
• Experience and passion around leading and mentoring more junior engineers
• Experience in a fast paced start-up environment preffered
• Experience in Node.JS, Python, Java, or other popular programming languages
• Experience with AWS Lambda Functions preferred
• Experience in ORMS including Prisma, Spring, or Hibernate. Prisma expertise preferred
• Experience in setting up systems to monitor for bugs or performance issues
• Experience in RDBMS systems including Posgres or MySQL. Cloud based versions of these preferred
• Experience in cloud based environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure. AWS Experience preferred.
• Experience in microservices, event based architectures, or serverless solutions
