WHAT YOU’LL DO

• The Cloud Security Architect will be responsible for design and delivery of cloud security operations for large and complex security solutions in AWS and Azure
• This will be a key role in projects and will require expert ability to communicate with team members and customers
• The architect will be expected to design and architect security solutions in Azure to meet the ever-increasing requirements of customers to shift security to the left
• The architect will also be expected to have an engineering background with progressively more advanced roles
• This will be a hands-on role with expectations of training and support of engineers, along with management of security operations and customer communication

WHAT YOU HAVE

• Ability to design advanced secure templates to use as blueprints in AWS and Azure deployments
• Expert ability to design and communicate AWS and Azure security patterns
• Expert knowledge in Azure and AWS tools such as Azure Security Center, Azure Policies, AWS Security Hub, Amazon GuardDuty, and AWS Config
• Expert understanding of CI/CD DevOps tools and ability to build, secure, and deploy multi-environment pipelines with secure artifacts and branch control, and SAST / DAST pipeline tasks
• Knowledge of Azure and AWS best practices including Identity Access Management (IAM), network security, modern cloud security architecture, and platform specific security and governance tools
• Ability to whiteboard a cloud solution as well as redesign as needed based on changing requirements (Teams Microsoft whiteboard, Visio, Draw.io and Lucidchart)
• Deep understanding of modern cloud security patterns and methodologies
• Moderate experience in a development environment using tools such as Git
• Most importantly, the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies to solve unique challenges as they come
• Experience using Third-party commercial tools to monitor security compliance of multi-cloud environments such as Dome9, Qualys, or others
• Experience developing CI/CD Pipelines for cloud deployments
• Ability to bring about organization change required to bake security into every application and workload
• Understanding of modern cloud network concepts such as hub-spoke, network routing, hybrid networks, and how cloud services access and route through them
• Understanding of modern cloud IAM tools such as Active Directory, Azure PIM, Okta, CyberArk, Britive, and others
• Understanding of Git repositories including branch management, protection, and deployment for multi-environment scenarios
• Background in one major programing language such as Java, C#, Node.JS, React, or other frontend or backend language
