The Systems Engineer is part of the End User Technology and Infrastructure Service Team that delivers desktop support for employees and network/server infrastructure support for the organization. We are responsible for deployment, monitoring, maintenance, security, development, upgrades and support of desktops, laptops, servers, handheld devices, printers, drivers, software, email, patches and operating systems within our environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with our Lead Cloud Systems Engineer to deliver great system performance for our users
• Manage and support Barracuda firewall
• Build, administer and maintain Windows Server environment.
• Maintain and support Tableau environment.
• Maintain and support SAS server environment.
• Schedule, install, and test system software upgrades. Automate where possible.
• Build automation for Azure infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code)
• Manage and support Fax solution
• Manage and support WVD environments
• Manage and support SFTP environment
• Work with Security Department to build solutions that will comply with SOC and HIPAA requirements
• Work closely with our Data and Engineering Teams to assist with Azure architecture as directed by lead engineer
• Work with the Security team to implement solutions as directed by lead engineer
• Administer password reset, moves, adds, deletes and changes as the needs of the business require
• Establish and maintain documentation for our Azure environment.
• Provide onsite technical support as determined by office support

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology preferred; Five (5) or more years’ experience in lieu of degree
• Five (5) or more years’ experience providing technical/security support to end users
• Three (3) years experience with Azure or Azure Solutions Architect Certification
• Three (3) years’ Windows Server management and support
• Good understanding of ARM Templates and/or Terraform
• Experience with PowerShell scripting
• Current ITIL Certification preferred
• Experience deploying, administering, and troubleshooting networking technologies
