RESPONSIBILITIES:

• New Application Feature Development
• Performance Tuning
• Maintenance of extensions and Tools
• Monitoring
• Capacity Planning
• Troubleshooting
• Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Extensive MS SQL Server experience, including deep knowledge of architecture, implementation and support
• C#, Python, Powershell, XSL experience strongly recommended
• Understanding of, and experience with, relational database environments
• Involvement in SQL cloud databases as a service and continuous deployment methodologies
• Experience with data management and data processing flow charting techniques
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to articulate and collaborate with customers and team members in carrying out work functions.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server and Visual Studio tools and practices
• Experience troubleshooting MS SQL Server system level issues, such as crashes due to device failures, corruption, lock handling
• Complete other assigned project tasks as required.
• Technical documentation skills
• Oversees rules, procedures and standards for access and maintenance of shared data resources
• Review overall physical database structures for data integrity, quality, recover-ability, maintenance and physical storage requirements
• Ability to pay close attention to detail in ensuring product quality assurance.
