What you will do...

• Approach challenges head-on and revel in the details
• Managing deployments to cloud-based environments for a mission-critical healthcare technology application
• Creating and documenting high-quality release tools and procedures
• Helping plan the tactical and strategic approaches to ensuring long-term quality, scalability, and reliability of the infrastructure
• Guiding infrastructure and IT decisions by embracing the “many hats” of startup life
• Supporting and maintaining virtual environments and assist in troubleshooting issues as needed

Requirements for the Role

• 3-5 years of DevOps and release management experience, with experience leading teams preferable
• A background building SaaS solutions that employ IaaS providers, particularly Azure
• Experience managing enterprise solutions, with specific knowledge of performance optimization & scalability and associated metrics
• Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (e.g. Powershell, Bash)
• Familiarity with configuration management, DevOps, IT operations, and best practices
• Understanding of HIPAA and/or PCI compliance from an infrastructure perspective.
• Understanding of Agile processes.
• B.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft and Atlassian suites
• Experience with Jenkins, Kafka, or elasticsearch a plus
