The ideal DevOps Engineer has experience in running automated production infrastructure in the cloud, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Technology is an ever-changing field and we would like someone to help us through the change in DevOps. The position offers opportunities for building and designing a modern, automated platform in the cloud, spanning across multiple regions around the globe and supporting multiple application for our SparkPredict development teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Experience working as a server and/or network administrator in a software development environment
• Proactively communicate project & task status to project stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
• You’ll be writing tools to integrate systems, like connecting Jenkins to Selenium.
• Someone well versed in systems administration with a background and understanding of software development.

Required Skills/Experience

• Experience administering virtual server environments such as VMWare or XEN and Experience in a cloud environment, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience supporting Windows or Linux web and database servers.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of our build, testing, and continuous integration environment
• Experience with development operations of continuous integration, automated testing, and automation of the dev process
• Familiar with source/revision control management systems, such as Jira, FogBugz, Mercurial, Git, BitBucket, Bugzilla, TRAC or similar.
• Experience with at least one programming language: Perl, Shell, Bash, PHP, Python, C#, Java, C++
• 5+ years of DevOps experience is required. 

Preferred Skills/Experience (Any of these is a plus)

• 4+ years of software development experience (full life-cycle object-oriented development a plus)
• Experience in monitoring, metrics collection, and reporting using open source tools
