Chive Media Group is currently looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer who will help us maintain existing products as well as bring new products to life.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Design, implement, and maintain IT automation to ease the burden of application builds and deployment across multiple environments and properties.
• Implement “code as infrastructure” solutions
• Streamline CI/CD pipelines in cloud-based environment
• Establish build process across Development, QA, Staging, Production
• Ensure scalability and stability of production environment

 
REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have experience with automation and configuration management systems, such as Puppet, Ansible, Salt, or Chef
• Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration is a must
•  Familiarity with auto-scaling, load balancing, and virtualization is a must.  
• Experience with managing applications with dynamic scaling needs
• Strong understanding of load balancing applications, preferably HAProxy or cloud load balancers
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines
• Experience managing software releases across multiple git repositories
• Some experience with REST API development
• Experience with relational, non-relational, and time-series data stores (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch)
• Knowledge of modern relational database replication methods
• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Microsoft Azure
• Solid understanding of core networking concepts, including TCP/IP and DNS
