About the role:

The digital design verification team is responsible for ensuring the Mythic's chip designs are functionally correct before submitting for manufacturing. We work most closely with the hardware RTL designers to understand the design and test their RTL code. The DV team also works with the analog design team, the firmware team, the post-silicon testing team, and others.

Here's what you will do:

  • Work with designers to build verification environments and test plans
  • Development of UVM test benches
  • Craft functional verification coverage strategy to ensure complete test suite implementation
  • Develop assertions and checks to optimize isolation time and produce meaningful failing signatures
  • Analyze failing tests to root cause, working with the design team
  • Provide input on Architectural and Micro-Architectural specifications for testability and accuracy
  • Examine code coverage results, identifying exclusions, and improving stimulus
  • Take ownership of test closure by meeting target pass rates, coverage quality, and other quality metrics

Here's the background we hope you have:

  • BS/MS in EE, CE, or CS
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Knowledge of verification methodologies
  • Knowledge of computer architecture
  • Understanding and experience with Verilog, SV, and UVM

The following is nice to have, but not required:

  • Experience working at startups
  • Experience with Python or Ruby
  • Experience with chip debug features - design, verification or post-silicon
  • Experience with Design-for-Test (DFT) features - design, verification or post-silicon
  • Knowledge of neural networks, audio processing, and/or image processing
