About this role:
Atmosphere TV is looking for an engineering lead to join its HQ in Austin. We are looking for a Director of Engineering, AdTech to help build and manage our AdTech development teams across our products in the Digital out-of-home (DOOH) space. This person will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our product offerings, as well as helping with new product initiatives. Atmosphere TV is a fast-paced startup environment and this position must interface with multiple teams on a regular basis. Past experience building advertising technology products is a must. This individual will be zealous about code and development efficiency, optimization, meaningful documentation, and testing. This position will report directly to the CTO.
JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Help build and manage AdTech engineering teams
• Oversee all aspects of AdTech engineering/development
• Work with Product to bring projects to fruiting from planning to implementation/release
• Collaborate and communicate with various departments to understand problems and create effective solutions 
• Architect new features into the existing platforms/products
• Lead project scoping, planning across various projects and platforms
• Work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving startup environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams
• 3+ years developing AdTech products
• Proficiency in JIRA and Google Analytics
• Experience with DevOps: Continuous Integration, Configuration Management, Git, etc.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience working with and leading remote teams
• Experience coding in: Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, etc.
• Project and Product Management experience
• You make data-driven decisions
• You’re a self-starter; you don’t need to be micromanaged
• You have experience building up and mentoring engineering teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
