Vrbo is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our next generation Authentication,
Authorization, and Identity profile across Vrbo and Expedia Group points of sale. The
role requires a highly technical and collaborative leader who can build alignment and delivery
across teams through rapid learning, listening, deep technical knowledge and engineering
expertise.
In this role Vrbo Profile and Authentication teams will report to you and you will be part of
the Marketplace engineering organization which optimizes the Vrbo and Expedia
vacation rental marketplace by building tools and systems to better match the needs of a multi-
sided travel marketplace.

• Manage, coach, and mentor a team of 20+ software engineers
• Highly technical. Experience with Front End and Back End Systems.
• Experience building alignment across teams and organizations.
• 15+ years of software delivery experience.
• Humble, hands on, persistent and collaborative leader.
