We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our Core Business teams. The Core Business team is passionate about elevating core user experience across all platforms and help users be successful at finding savings every time they visit RetailMeNot. We help over 40 million monthly visitors save money and discover great deals at their favorite retailers.

Our team works on initiatives that enables us to provide users relevant offers at the right place, right time, and right price. We build app and web experiences to deliver frictionless experience in discovery and redemption of savings while at home or in the store. We use analytics data, shopping pattern and location data to inform our offer personalization. We build solutions to handle complex challenges in real-time and distributed systems. We constantly add new ways to provide more content and incremental value for our users and merchants.

In your role, you will lead a group of full stack software engineers and quality engineers to deliver business results and technology innovation. Technologies we use today include Javascript, Java, Swift, Python, Selenium, PHP, SQL databases, Mongo databases, RESTful APIs, Docker and AWS infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• You will recruit, coach and grow high performing engineers
• You'll guide team members to make good technical decisions
• You will lead project management for your team, and take ownership of your team's delivery in close collaboration with product management, business analysts, designers, and other engineering teams
• You will drive iterative and on-time delivery of software
• You will lead ideation and discovery of technology solutions to improve user experience and drive business value
• You will champion test automation and engineering best practices
• You'll identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve engineering process, employees’ success, and business success
