This key role within our Customer Achievement organization, reporting to the Director, Technical Customer Success management, will be responsible for partnering with Rapid7’s Enterprise customers, in conjunction with the client’s Customer Success Manager, to ensure our clients are closing their security achievement gap.
Develop a detailed understanding of our our client’s technology and information systems in order to construct creative, solution-based approaches to architecture design, implementation and production roll-out of Rapid7 products
Understand client's business objectives/impact and apply your expertise to timely resolve issues and ensure customer success.
Advise on security best practices as they relate to Rapid7 technologies
Understand and advise clients on customize solutions such as efficiently utilizing API scripting, reporting, and custom dashboard development
Participate within the Rapid7 Community and Security Industry as an advocate and advisor
Build and maintain meaningful customer relationships in the pursuit of driving impeccable customer satisfaction
Consult with internal account teams on areas of opportunity and risk. Help to drive account planning activities to map out growth opportunities and milestones and possible barriers to overcome
Maintain an expert understanding of the IT threat landscape for the industry, leveraging the Rapid7 research
Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a similar technical field) or equivalent experience
10+ years experience with cybersecurity solutions such as vulnerability management, web application testing, clout security & architecture and incident response.
10+ years experience with Security best practices
Full understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security
Experience in enterprise wide automation and implementation of security technologies
Experience communicating highly technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Experience working cross-functionally, learning and developing meaningful internal relationships to drive customer success
Unrelenting passion for customer satisfaction, security technology, and innovation
Possess the ability to be a cybersecurity expert, and demonstrate deep security domain knowledge and expertise, with experience working with cross-team/matrixed organizations influencing multiple stakeholders across the organization
2-3+ years experience as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) or similar practitioner leadership role
Experience with cloud technologies and platforms; Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc.
Experience with scripting languages (Preferred: Ruby, Python) or reading and writing SQL Queries
