Job Summary
We are currently seeking a talented Front End Developer (TEMPORARY) to join our growing team. As a Front End Developer, you’ll build and test the frontend of both our company and our client’s proprietary web applications (both internal and public/client-facing), as well as help maintain and grow our company's websites, landing pages, microsites and other digital and social media properties. Our ideal candidate excels at all aspects of front-end development, with a clear proficiency in one or more modern frameworks.
**This is a temporary position.
Responsibilities
Develop new functionality to meet requirements
Ensure solutions following Real Chemistry's brand standards for intuitive, accessible and well-designed user experiences
Understand component-based development, be able to create clean, cutting edge and bug free code, as well as responsive and semantic design.
Have a strong eye for detail, sense of integrity and organization, plus a desire to be on the lookout for new technologies that enhance the effectiveness of these properties
Required Skills & Experience
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
3+ years proven business experience in modern Frontend development and deployment
Advanced experience in React
Advanced experience in ue, or Angular, etc
Advanced experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc
Ability to transform wireframes and high-level designs into semantic, accessible frontend interfaces of complex web apps, as well as developing reusable UI components
Experience with CLI & build tools
Expertise with a CMS (ideally WordPress, though other CMS will be considered) is strongly desired
