We're looking for an extraordinary Front-End Engineer to join our team. Front-End Engineers at PlayVS deliver high quality code which is scalable and easy to maintain. You'll be responsible for creating, maintaining and modifying features related to improving the player enrollment experience. You will play a critical role on the team and will be responsible for architectural changes in the application. You will mentor junior developers and guide the front end engineering community on using the best practices to develop a scalable front-end application.

*Develop product features following well-known React.js patterns
*Ensure that the codebase is scalable and easy to maintain
*Work collaboratively with the Product, Design and QA teams while building the best product experience
*Develop new user-facing features using React.js
*Perform unit and integration testing
*Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
*Optimize components across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
*Drive independently a project from inception to production deployment with a strong focus on performance and robustness
*4+ years of software development experience as a Front-End Engineer
*Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
*Strong proficiency in CSS, experience with Sass/styled-components a plus
*Efficiency in problem solving
*Familiarity with Git or other code repo version control tools
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Familiarity with GraphQL and Apollo Experience with TypeScript or Javascript
*Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years software development experience or Masters degree with 1-3 years software development experience, or equivalent.
