Position Overview:
Kendra Scott is looking to hire a Front End Web Developer to help run and maintain our new eCommerce eco system and support the fast-growing business. Our ideal candidate must be highly organized, an amazing communicator, and great at working with cross-functional teams on multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
• Develop software solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud eCommerce (Demandware) platform
• Create, configure and maintain Color Bar and Charms using 3rd party product configurator
• Work with local and geographically dispersed team members
• Convert wireframe and visual design mock-ups into functional web frontend software
• Participate in software design, estimation and planning sessions
• Responsible for static content development on eCommerce platform
• Modify Salesforce Commerce Cloud eCommerce (Demandware) site preferences and configurations as needed
• Work with internal team and vendors on troubleshooting production issues
• Work with 3rd party providers to implement and run additional functionality for the site
• Implements plans to achieve departmental priorities
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, BS in Information Systems preferred
• 3+ years’ experience as a front end developer for a high-growth company
• A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery
• A high sense of self-motivation and direction, proactively reporting on status and tasks
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
• Ability to be adaptable and a willingness to take on tasks outside of a narrowly defined role, ideally a desire to be multi-skilled
• Experience with eCommerce operations, Salesforce Commerce Cloud Digital Developer certification preferred
• Experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence, JSON, XML, SFTP and Amazon s3
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with GIT revision control preferred
• High level Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with fast moving and growing organizations, and/or experience working in retail organizations and understanding the priorities and nature of the services provided
• Experience in an agile scrum project
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and create problem-solving skills
• Previous User Experience design preferred
• A strong ability to build relationship with co-workers and keep others informed
• A growth mindset: desire to learn, grow and embrace new ideas
