Job Summary:
 
Alpha Paw is looking for an innovative, hard-working Full Stack Developer to join the team. This position will be responsible for the daily, hands-on development of the site as well as managing the development process. 

About this role:
 

• Highly proficient in WordPress, WooCommerce
• Custom WordPress theme & plugin development (no exceptions)
• Strong skills in front end (HTML5 / CSS3 / Less / Sass / Javascript / JQuery)
• Good experience in back end (PHP, Mysql)
• Experience in creating and using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with server-side technologies (AWS, Load balancer, New Relic, CDN, Database)
• Bootstrap or similar framework
• Understands browser specific compatibility issues.
• Experience with Git
• A team player with strong communication skills who truly enjoys working through ideas with others
• A collaborative individual - who also thrives under self-direction
• Experience in Data Analytics and reporting

 
Qualifications and Skills
 

• Help expand the capabilities of our development team, allowing us to build out features faster and more efficiently.
• Translate design requirements and mockups into fully functioning site features.
• Implement A/B tests across our website.
• Collaborate on finding and troubleshooting bugs.
• Improving site speed and user experience.
• Checking the error logs and server load and fixing/optimizing the code accordingly.
• Create new landing pages for products to test.
