If you are passionate about software and finding solutions to problems through agility, we want to talk with you! You will be a be a key contributor to the Jira Align Development Platform, which strives to help simplify software at scale by bringing business and software development organizations together in one intuitive platform. In this role, you will be a Full Stack Software Engineer working on various aspects of the existing Jira Align platform as well as new initiatives related to it. You will work with team members around the globe on a daily basis and be a part of a growing team building and supporting a product used by many Fortune 500 companies.

You will be a key contributor to the Jira Align Development Platform working to create and implement new functionality, better user experience through the use of client and server side code. You will also create responsive and interactive elements to enhance our rich user experience and via CSS. With your software engineering skills and experience you will work on items including SAML/SSO, REST API, integrations, new and existing features in C# and other Microsoft languages and scripts. You will use your database and back-end knowledge for creating and optimizing stored procedures and indexes used by the application. your understanding and experience in CI /CD pipelines will help improve and maintain our continuous integration processes.

You will have having a lot of autonomy and the opportunity to be involved in many different aspects of Jira Align.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

• 4+ years professional experience in a software development team
• Strong fundamental software development skills
• Strong proficiency in web-based applications and architecture
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs
• Experience in the resolution of customer issues involving code error diagnosis, debugging, validation, and root cause analysis.
• Expertise with server-side software development in software design, object-oriented programming. (preferred experience with .NET Framework (C#), Java, and/or NodeJs)
• Database MSSQL
• Strong browser/JavaScript fundamentals (ex HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery)
• Scripting languages
• HTML5, CSS3, ES2015+
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Security-conscious
• CSS/JS frameworks knowledge
• You have experience making progress through product experimentation.
• You value progress over perfection and have a track record of shipping value to customers

It's great, but not required, if you have:

• Experience with CI / CD pipelines
• Automated deployment and release management tools (ex. Octopus)
• DevOps experience building and supporting systems using a CI/CD pipeline
• U.S. Bachelor or higher degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management or a closely related field of study
