Abrigo is seeking an Implementation Engineer to take a key role with a talented and dedicated technical group focusing on technical implementations and special client projects. The perfect candidate is sharp, organized, self-motivated and success-oriented.
The position will require working with clients and project managers in a fast-paced environment at a rapidly growing company. What You'll Do:
- Work and communicate directly with customers and project managers to ensure quality onboarding of new clients and new products
- Contribute to large scale build-outs/conversions of on-prem applications to the latest SAAS technology
- Windows and SQL server validations and migrations
- Database conversions & mergers
- SQL script fixes and optimization
- Applications installs and upgrades on Windows & SQL servers in both on premise and hosted environments.
- Application validation, data analysis, defect identification, troubleshooting and decommissioning
- Server performance analysis
- Document processes and knowledge base articles to increase efficiency and reduce required work effort
- Work with project managers to create modify, and distribute basic project plans, as well as all implementation related documentation
- Work closely with customers to understand their business and needs
- Master the features and functionality of Abrigo software
- Coordinate implementation efforts with Third Party Vendors
What You'll Need:
- Ability to multi-task in a project-oriented environment

- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of technical engineering experience working with software and databases
- Strong ability to write, read, understand, troubleshoot SQL scripts
- Strong understanding of relational databases, Windows Server environments, permissions, network communication, product integration issues and database migrations issues
- Ability to do basic server performance analysis: Disk, Memory, CPU, Database
- Microsoft Certifications in Windows and/or SQL not required, but a plus (SQL preferred)
- Knowledge of at least 1 programming language (preferably C#) not required, but a plus
