WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• As we work to leverage cutting edge technologies to change the future of healthcare, we need exceptional people to protect Babylon’s critical infrastructure, services and customers.
• As an Infrastructure Security Architect, you will be one of the early hires on our exceptional security team tasked with building world-class security into our product offerings by working on AWS/GCP/Azure cloud platforms and how our cloud networks interconnect securely.
• This role will bolster a secure design culture across the company while driving secure design processes that focus on securing the infrastructure layer of our products, services, and corporate IT environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will work in tandem with the platform team to create a new multi cloud, container based infrastructure that has security controls and visibility built in from inception, that can deploy anywhere in the world in minutes.
• You will create the infrastructure that powers a global health platform through your knowledge about AWS Transit Gateway, Amazon Firewall and extensive experience deploying VPC infrastructure.
• You will invent new ways to integrate GCP, AWS and Azure in a company that is completely cloud based.
• You will be a designer and security champion for all of Babylon’s security network and routing infrastructure and how Security Architecture design principles will apply across the enterprise. 
• You will tap your deep knowledge of security tools, processes and KPI, to aid the promotion of our best in security healthcare platform iterate into the future.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have developed and operated large-scale infrastructure services
• You have automated infrastructure in public clouds and created services based on an infrastructure as code mentality via terraform or boto3
• Experience in software development, especially by using web APIs and languages such as Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, Rust and/or Bash
• Experience securing or attacking Windows, Mac, Linux, AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
• Experience with AWS Transit Gateway, Application Gateway, ELB
• WAF, Origin protection and network defense techniques
• Experience implementing secure network configurations and designs by utilizing access control lists (NACL/ACLs), subnets, VLANs, firewalls, etc.
• You are conversant in crafting IAM roles across multiple clouds driven by automation (Terraform/Boto3 etc)
• You can work with other teams and engineers to implement secure coding guidelines and best practices
• You can perform proactive research to detect new attack vectors
• You can perform threat modeling for existing and future applications
• You can assess and integrate new tools and technologies to improve our operational efficiencies
• You can help Babylon work towards compliance with SOC 2, GDPR and HiTrust standards
