The Role
Overhaul is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Integrations Engineer who will play a critical role in driving the success of our high growth software business. Your primary responsibilities will include the build and release management of our SaaS platform and applications through integration and continuous delivery. Additionally, you will be responsible for rapidly understanding each customer inquiry and request from a product SME/head of Engineering to drive swift and thorough adoption. The successful candidate will be passionate, hardworking, naturally curious, and eager to stay ahead of the competition as we deliver the world's only real time supply chain integrity solution.
Key responsibilities
- Developing solutions for client integration needs
- Support of existing and development of new interfaces
- Plan the implementation of the product configuration / integration work
- Execute product configuration
- Execute integration and migration work
- Prepare system test, module test, and accept test
- Develop an understanding of our product technology stack and how it weaves together with business processes
- Work to identify and drive improvements
- Collaborate and review code with other engineers on the team to ensure each integration maintains a consistent level of technical standards as set by the team
- Utilize knowledge and experience to translate design requirements and specifications into robust solutions
- Communicate technical details clearly to various stakeholders of different technical expertise
What we expect from you
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong technical generalist background
- Strong knowledge and hands-on implementation experience on one or more of the clouds - AWS/Azure/GCP
- Demonstrated expertise in leveraging Agile and other development
- Expertise in one or more languages - Java, Ruby on Rails, Node JS, Python, Javascript
- Deep familiarity with Agile Scrum/Kanban methodology
- Experience with one or more of the database technologies both relational and NoSQL (PostgreSQL/SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL and MongoDB/DynamoDB/Cassandra)
- Experience with APIs is a must (REST/SOAP)
- Professional experience in a customer facing role, working with Engineering and QA teams
- Positive can-do attitude to help clients navigate through challenging problems with easy creative solutions
