FloSports, a leader and innovator in digital sports media, is currently seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Apps Team (iOS/tvOS). The Apps Team is responsible for building, maintaining, and monitoring our native video-streaming applications on mobile and TV platforms. The Apps Team partners closely with our platform, revenue, and acquisition teams to iterate on opportunities that allow us to reach new audiences, retain existing subscribers, and deliver world-class experiences to sports fans around the world.

As a Software Engineer II on the Apps Team (iOS/tvOS), you will be responsible for creating solutions that have a major, long-term impact on the engagement of our subscribers that enjoy our native iOS and tvOS apps. We believe in taking a data-informed approach to validate the impact of those solutions. Additionally, you will play a key role in implementing experiments (A/B/n tests) across our apps.

• Have experience shipping beautiful, functional, consumer-facing mobile applications

• Are an expert at building applications in Swift

• Are comfortable owning feature delivery end-to-end

• Can iterate rapidly while collaborating with designers & other engineers

• Seek to drive efficiencies and automating routine workflows and tasks

• Deliver performant features through an iterative approach: building, measuring, and learning

• Efficiently learn new concepts, manage your own productivity, and desire to improve yourself, your team, and our products

• Have full-stack experience building out server-side APIs using Node.js or PHP.

• Clear communicator of thoughts and ideas

• Live to create awesome features that grow our product and the sport

• Seek out others’ opinions to further yours

• Passionate about building effective customer experiences

Bonus points:

• Have experience building and maintaining automated mobile CI/Deployment systems

• A testing mindset and familiarity with mobile testing strategies

• Production knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, or GCP Cloud Functions
